Anybody have a fancy camera or interest in photography?

Ziggy and I bought a Cannon Rebel T1i two weekends ago and im seriously in love with it. I get to be artsy and stuff and its lots of fun.

I dont have any pics from it on my work computer but i could probably post a few up when i get home if anybodys interested. You can share you own photos too if you have some neat ones

I think this will be my post-wedding hobby!

i don't have a fancy camera, but realized that DH and I both really enjoy taking pictures. we took over 2500 on our honeymoon and haven't even started going through them! we are talking about making a photo wall of pics from the trip or stitching a panoramic together to hang above our bed. add this to my project list!

I took photography in high school and absolutely loved it. Learned how to develop film and everything. But that doesn't help me much now. I like digital. I have a Canon powershot sx100ls not much of a photographers camera but it's great for me. I have tons of pictures. I want to take a digital photography class.

I love taking photos, but wouldn't call it photography, only because I really don't know all of the particulars. I learned a lot in my high school yearbook class, including developing, but have never taken an official photography class, though I am dying to (except for the pressure to find and take good photos under a time limit!).

I have (had? it's broken) a Canon Powershot that I keep in my purse and am really familiar with it.

My parents gave me a Nikon D60 for graduation last year and am still getting the hang of all its features. I get a lot of compliments on my vacation photos, and people think I should sell them, but I feel like it's just luck at this point, since I just fiddle around until something comes out that I like.

I am obsessed with taking photos of flowers, ever since I discovered the macro function a couple of years ago!

I love photography, but I haven't had much time for it lately. In HS, I had a good 'ol Pentax K1000 SLR, but didn't have a dSLR until a couple months ago (Pentax K-X). Hopefully I'll get back into it -- the only real chance I've had to use it so far has been on the honeymoon!

I have tried to get into photography many, many times. I have a great interest in it but until I can afford to take an actual class and buy a better camera, it's really going to be hard to improve my picture taking. I currently have a high end point and shoot Canon which I absolutely love but it is still rather limited on what it can do.

I love photography! I took 3 years of it in high school - and loved it. Would have taken some classes in college if the times they were offered worked with the rest of my schedule. I have a nice Cannon Rebel but it's a 35mm - not a digital. I really would love to get a nice digital one at some point. I took some really nice pictures in my HS class that I actually still have framed and on the walls of my old apartment. Would love to get back into it. I just have a point and shoot Canon PowerShot right now.

i absolutely LOVE photography. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. on our honeymoon i took over 5,000 photos lol...i got the canon rebel XT DSLR in 2007, but i'm now looking to upgrade. i want one of the canons with HD video now because they are AMAZING. they are so expensive though. something to save for here are some pics that i love from our honeymoon in japan

haha thank you!!! i am a firm believer of "it's not the camera, it's the photographer" because when people ask me "what camera do you have?! i want it so i can take pictures like that!!!" i can't help but sigh lol...it's not like i just pick up the magical camera and take nice photos haha...when they say that to me it's like all my talent is gone, and they think it's just the camera! haha

haha yeah i hate that. granted, a fancy camera with cool setting and not all auto-stuff helps you have more options of making a cool picture, but it can be done nicely with junky cameras too!
