I am going to a wedding in a Swedish castle, yo!
My husband's BFF that lives in Sweden with his GF (we visited them earlier this year) popped the question early this morning and she said yes!!! They are getting hitched in a CASTLE - yes!!! A CASTLE and I am so pumped to attend (assuming we are invited.....).

One of the girls on my anniversary board lives in The Netherlands and got married in a castle. So awesome.
Me too, it has to be good if they're getting married in a CASTLE!!
I guess they are potentially getting married next fall. It depends on what kind of job he can get over there. If he can't get a decent job, they are going to the justice of the peace here in the states and doing it that way instead (so she can get citizenship here). This is kind of complicating our plans for a big five year anniversary trip but it will be okay.
So, he had planned to propose at this coffee shop they really love but he got home yesterday, she picked him up at the train station, took him home, then took him to work so he had all day for the ring to burn a hole in his pocket. She got home from work and was looking through all the stuff he had brought back for her (she loves J Crew) and he just felt the time was right. So, he turned on some music and got down on one knee. I guess she wasn't really paying attention and then was like "Um, what?" So he asked and she stood there for about 30 second just in a complete daze and finally was like "OMG - OMG - YES YES!" Poor girl!
I just love unplanned proposals like that. It just makes me feel so good to hear a guy say "I couldn't wait anymore. The ring was burning a hole in my pocket." That is just so cute.
