I went to Borders yesterday and was reminded of something that happened there right after DH & I got engaged. We were checking out and the cashier asked us if we just got engaged (I was getting bridal mags), I said yes & she went on to say she just got engaged also. Congrats were exchanged, next thing I know she's asking when we're having kids. Not if, when. Honestly, I didn't know what to say because this lady is a complete stranger to me. I just said I wasn't sure and then she went on to tell me her whoooooole plan. How many, when, how, where. I saw her today and she's PG, so it looks like her "plan" is on schedule. LOL.

    I'll never understand why people can't let you get through one life changing event before asking about the next one. Fortunately, we really haven't gotten too much of the baby question. Before we were engaged people bugged the crap out of us (especially DH) about when we were getting married. DH told me on several occasions we couldn't get married yet because we weren't ready for kids. It took some convincing that I wouldn't be cut off of BC the minute he said I do. It seems other people share the same the view.

    Yeah, what's with the when?  Not everyone who gets married plans to have kids!  But glad to know the cashier at Borders is right on schedule!
