I jump very easily and HH thinks its hilarious to hide behind walls, doors, etc and scare me when I walk past. Well about 1:00am this morning I got up to use the bathroom. When I came out, before my eyes had adjusted to the darkness, someone grabs me around the waist and growels! I pretty much screamed and HH is dying laughing. I was kinda mad at him last night but now thinking back on it, it was pretty funny lol.

My DH is EXACTLY the same way. It can make me so mad when he does stuff like that, but I can usually always laugh about it later.

Ok. I confess. I do the same types of things to DH.

I would not put the effort in that your DH did though. Once I am in bed, I am not getting out for anything!

I do stuff like that to Adam all the time. He startles easily. Our fridge is right next to the hallway, so when you open the refridgerator door, you can sneak up the hallway and hide behind the door, so when Adam goes to close the door, I have my face right there. Gets him every time. I hide around corners and jump out at him all the time. I find it hilarious!!

hahahaha, I do that stuff to Greg all the time! My favorite is to get him when he's coming in from work-- he has to push his bike through ahead of him, so I hide behind the door and wait until his bike is almost fully through the door, then I pop out and he screams.... it's hilarious every time!

Wow... I don't think I would be very forgiving if Matt attacked me in the dark when I was half-asleep!

Actually, I know that I would not take it well. I would probably be so mad and shaken up that I would go sleep in the guest room!

I'm startled so easy, plus I'm paranoid. I'm ALWAYS checking around corners to make sure HH isn't planning a suprise attack! hahaha. One time I was in the shower and he came in and poked his head in to say something, and I saw him glance upward, so I looked up... and he poured a cup of cold water right in my face! right in my EYES. it freakin hurt! it would have been funny if he had done it right and not looked up! hahaha. I was so pissed!

I got Adam with that yesterday. I was standing on the front porch while he was watering the flower bed with the hose and he kept pretending like he was going to spray me... well, he finally DID spray me so I acted mad and went inside and slammed the door and locked it. He kept ringing the doorbell while I was filling up a large glass of water. I went and unlocked the door and as soon as he opened it, he got the whole glass of water dumped in his face.

We do the shower thing, too.

LOL! I love dumping cold water over the shower curtain onto DH! I'm afraid if he had grabbed me in the dark I would have clobbered him. When I am sleepy I have been known to lash out violently when startled.
