Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Time Warner's All the Best / Land line phone options?
We're looking into getting a landline phone because finally, for a variety of reasons, just cell phones isn't working out as well as it used to. We have Time Warner cable, and currently spend about $89/mo. for HD cable and internet.
To add a phone line with TW, they're quoting $117/mo for the first year, and then $134 after that - Calvin's in charge of researching, but I think that's the all the best package. That seems really steep to me. That's $27, and then 45/mo. starting next year for a phone line? I remember paying in that zone for a stand alone phone account back in college.
Are there better options out there?
