DH got me a really nice watch for my bday/anniv. present. It came the other day so we took it to a jeweler in town to verify authenticity and get sized. We ended up having them send it to their specialist in IL to be pressure tested, seals/battery replaced etc and it will take 3 wks to get back. Dang!
I'm a little disappointed but it will just mean the watch is in tip-top shape for me to wear it. And that if I happen to wear it in the water be confident that it's okay. DH apologized, and I said it wasn't his fault, I just know he wants it to be taken care of. Sigh...now waiting game begins!
Re: 3 weeks
What kind of watch is it?!?
ha me either!
yay for new watches though!
Hopefully they will get it done sooner then the 3 weeks!
It's a Breitling Colt Oceane (not brand new though)
similar to this
It's a diving watch, so there are seals inside to protect from water getting in. Since the watch isn't brand new, they probably should be replaced. I'll definitely have this for a long time, it's reaaallllyyy nice, I love it! (even if it's not brand new)
