another...Twins game question

My Hubby gets to go to the game tonight, for free with some guys from work. They're actually leaving now, going to lunch and then they're getting some special access something or other because they're with Dole. They get 5th row seats behind the Twins dugout. Lucky, huh?

As we were watching the game last night, we were trying to decide if the seats are like the ones at metrodome. Are they the rigid hard back, arm rest seats? They don't look like they have arm rests on them?!

So jealous of him, but we get to go to the 9/1 game together, also due to his work. He won free tickets, but we're in the upper levels, probably nosebleeds.

Re: another...Twins game question

  • They are hard seats but I think they are a definite improvement over the dome. They seem wider to me and do have armrests. Our season tickets are lower level, but we were in the upper deck on Tuesday and it wasn't bad at all. For once we were under the canopy and could see the entire big scoreboard. Compared to the dome, there are few seats that I would consider lousy. Have fun!

  • The seats are definitely better than at the dome.  To me it seemed like they were more comfortable and you get a little more room.  There really isn't a bad seat at Target field, because all the upper level seats are tilted towards home plate.  We were way up in section 305 (nosebleed) and we still have a great view.

  • Is he in one of the Dugout Boxes? If so, those seats are padded on the seat (not the back though). I sat in box 2 last night - they're really nice! I've also sat in the Skyline deck and in section 229. I'd say all the seats are better than the Dome.
