Why do people do this
A girl I went to HS w/sent a request to be connected on LI. I haven't talked to her in 3 yrs. No phone conversations, no emails, no contact - so why now? Don't know what to do. We were friends, but then she dropped off the face of the earth and doesn't talk to anyone that lives here in town (that I'm aware of). And even before 3 yrs ago, I spoke w/her sporadically.
Re: Why do people do this
I'm not really familiar with LI, isn't it more of a professional networking thing? I know that on FB I actually kind of enjoy seeing what people are up to - even if I haven't talked to them in years. That's purely social though. I think that it would be kind of weird to connect with an old friend on a professional site unless you had similar careers now or something??
