wth goes through some parents mind?
Twice in the last week I have gone up to the gas station and parked. I look over and the first time I see an unlocked running car with a little boy about the age of 2 in the backseat. No one else in the car. Then today when I am there I look over and there is a little boy probably 4 months old in his infant carrier alone in the car with the car completely unlocked. Now I know we live in a small town and all, but NEVER have I heven considered leaving the girls alone in the car. Ever. I just do NOT get what goes through some parents head.
Re: wth goes through some parents mind?
Complete idiots!!! I hate seeing stupid people like that. I would NEVER do that. If I have to run in somewhere quick, I hate doing this, but I take the lightweight stroller and wheel Davis in. He is too heavy to carry and still doesn't listen well enough to be trusted just hold my hand, hell he won't even hold my hand, he just wants to run. But as inconvenient as the stroller can be I still do it because I'd rather spend an extra 2 minutes dealing with that then having something awful happen.
Kind of off the subject, but still about stupid people, the other day I saw a car with a 4 kids in the backseat, all still at the age that requires them to be in either a forward facing seat or a booster. They were probably between the ages of 4 and 7. Anyways, not one was in a car seat or a booster, nor did any of them have seatbelts on and they were sitting on each others laps.
