So, I can't seem to make myself work this morning. My Diet Coke disappeared way too quickly. In the middle of a temper tantrum this morning, Andy bit my shoulder, so now I have a burning, stabby sensation every time my shirt moves.
Where is everybody? Hi. Did the slow down yesterday further kill this place?
Whatcha doin this weekend?
Re: Sup
Well, we were supposed to be in Chicago, seeing friends, showing off MC, and doing some fine dining at Alinea. However. MC decided to pick up a nasty stomach bug and puke on us all week then get an ear infection. We're taking the time off of work anyway because we both need the break, and are just doing a staycation. She was well enough for daycare today, so that's where she is, and we are about to head out for breakfast and massages.
In other news, I think my husband is gay. At least according to the good folks at ChristWire.org (via Huffington Post). Because you know, only gay men care about their appearance and the cleanliness of their homes.

(ETA: the site is satire, and there are other gems to be found.)
Mucho likes purple nails and purple cupcakes
According to that site, my husband is 90% not gay.
My question is, if it's not okay for a husband to go to San Fran without his wife, is it okay for a wife to go to San Fran without her husband? AM I SECRETLY A LESBIAN? I did let Mod kiss me after all.
That sucks, hope MC feels better soon!
I can't believe how little work I've gotten done this week, it's kind of sad actually. I think I'm bitter because I took a week off, yet felt like I was never gone.
Nothing big planned for this weekend, might go to an impromptu BBQ at a friend's new house and work on house stuff. I'll be channeling SB this weekend with my DIY projects.

Mernin' everybody!
Today is the day that I get to be ditched by Fitty. I can't wait!
The rest of the weekend will be spent procrastinating putting together the recycle center, and picking up our camping stuff from my parents' house because we're going to go to the lake next weekend.

It's a good thing my circle of trust is as giant as my vagina. That only leaves a couple people out. - Cali
Sorry to hear about MC, Lindsay! Stomach bugs are the worst of the worst of baby illnesses.
Cali, is Fitty in town and not visiting, or do you just anticipate that she is going to cancel on you? I don't recall what the situation is.
Groomz - booze. Every new home needs a well stocked bar. Perhaps my friends and I are just alcoholics.
Pukey babies are so sad, and they create a lot of laundry. The gay husband site is high-larious. I'm now concerned about the three times a year my husband travels to Asia for "work."
We have nothing exciting planned this weekend. I'm going to clean our freezer tomorrow, and get some stuff ready for Ian's birthday party next weekend. Sunday we'll go to the beach house as my sister and her family are here from Vermont.
Sorry about MC, that doesn't sound like fun.
Tonight I am baking cookies for a bachelorette party I will be attending tomorrow for my soon to be sister in law. Sun I will probably spend cleaning and hopefully relaxing a bit.

Poor MC! I'm glad she's feeling better and that you guys have some fun activities planned while she's in dc.
I am so unmotivated today, mainly because the office is somewhat empty.
Weekend should be nice - we're treking up to CT tomorrow to visit my aunt and uncle. I love seeing them, but it's always somewhat hard...uncle is my dad's older brother and he's never been quite the same after my dad died. They were pretty close and really looking forward to seeing eachother more often after retirement.
Sunday we'll see a few open houses. I kind of can't get it up for house hunting anymore. Something about seeing 160+ houses, I guess.

aww, poor Mucho. A staycation can be just as fun, though.
Tomorrow I'm going to the Bristol Renaissance Faire. I must be ca-razy.
Hmmm....the arteeast in me has to go with performance art, especially since my bro was there.
Husbands should be like Kleenex: Soft, strong, and disposable.
We're taking third visits to our top 3 houses tomorrow. Hopefully we can make a decision about putting in an offer.
We are going to a outdoor jazz festival on Saturday. Zach is being babysat for the first time by a non-grandparent or daycare. The babysitter is a 15 year old daughter of a co-worker/friend. She seems super young to me, probably because I have known her since she was little.
This inspired my random thought for the day - thinking back to The Babysitters Club books I used read by the dozen, they were only 13 right? And the junior members were 11? I'm not sure I would be comfortable with that.
I'm bored and don't want to work. That leads to the reading of many useless websites. I found this link on Neatorama and wonder if any of the genius Caribbean babehs can give this kid a run for his money? He's going to be a blast at parties when he's older.
