almost a whole pack of bc pills that I'm not taking anymore? As some of you may remember my doc switched my pills a couple weeks ago. Well I had taken 2 pills of a brand new pack when my doc switched me. She told me to just start taking the new pills, don't worry about the old ones. Now my question is, what do I do with the old pills? Do I throw away the whole pack? Flush the pills down the toilet? Or keep them in case of an emergency? What do you girls think?
Two souls but a single thought; Two hearts that beat as one

Re: What do I do with...
You flush them so that no one can use the drugs later. This is mainly important if it's something with abuse potential, like pain killers or anti-anxiety drugs.A lot of drugs don't get metabolized and end up going down the toilet after you take them, so it's just like flushing them before they go threw your body.
BC isn't going to get abused, so you can just toss them. You could also call your local pharmacy to see if they have a disposal program. The general rule is that prescriptions are good for 1 year after you get them, so they probably wouldn't even be useful if you kept them.
