    1. When did you get married? October 10th, 2009

    2. Where did you register? Target & Belk

    3. What was the most expensive item on your registry? Did you get it? I think the pots & pans set, we didn't get them, but then DH bought me new stainless for Christmas, so I sorta did!

    4. What was your favorite gift, from on or off the registry? Probably the $1,000 check from my FIL that helped with the closing costs on our house. Though the note I got from my great-uncle was so comedic, it's my favorite non-gift gift.  "Back when I got married, people bought you a toaster, but you probably already have one, so here's money."

    5. What everyday dishes, stainless, and china/formal dishes do you have? PIP if you wish!  Our fine china was a gift from my g-pa, which was the china they received when they got married, so it's 50+ yrs old and from Japan.  It's a beautiful bamboo print.

I have dinner plates that my mom bought for me when I was a baby and these are our most frequently used casual dinner plates:

    1. When did you get married? May '07

    2. Where did you register? Bed Bath & Beyond, Target

    3. What was the most expensive item on your registry? DId you get it? 7-piece knife set w/ a block. No, we didn't get it, but we were able to buy between the returns of duplicate items & gift cards we were given.

    4. What was your favorite gift, from on or off the registry? From the registry, I love the knives, I think a good set of knives is a necessity! Off the registry, my brother bought us this awesome hammock & stand.

    5. What everyday dishes, stainless, and china/formal dishes do you have? PIP if you wish! I couldn't find our everyday stuff online, I don't think it's available anymore.  I like it, though. The big plates are green w/ a white swirly pattern around the border. The little plates & mugs are whiteish w/ green stripes around the outside. And the bowls are white inside w/ green polka dots on the outside.  I can't remember what pattern our china is, we haven't ever used it!

  • 1. When did you get married?  June 2005

    2. Where did you register?  Crate and Barrel, BB&B, Target, and a local to us store, Fortunoff that has since closed.

    3. What was the most expensive item on your registry? DId you get it?  Collectively it was my sterling silver place settings (each 4 piece setting was around $200), the single most expensive thing was our Dyson Animal.  Yes, I got all of my silver (our wedding gift from my parents) along with my Dyson (Shower gift from MIL)

    4. What was your favorite gift, from on or off the registry?  Probably the painting my MOH painted for me.  It's hanging in our living room.  We also got a clock from one of my friends that was made from our invitation.  I also have that hanging in our kitchen and that was very unique.

    5. What everyday dishes, stainless, and china/formal dishes do you have? PIP if you wish!  I love this SH!T!  (I'm one of those that just loves looking at all the pretty plates and glasses and silver, etc etc.)

Wedgewood Seville is our China (our accent plate is actually square which I LOVE!)

As far as our everyday dishes and stainless, we actually went the "set" route.  Since I did register for "expensive" special occasion stuff (but up on Long Island it's much more common to register for china, silver, crystal), I got one of those 45 piece everyday china sets that we really like--I actually got 2 sets, one to use everyday and then one to have replacements.  I got them on sale at Bloomingdales and both together were less than $125 for 8 5-piece place settings plus the completer.  I did register for a few additional accent pieces and platters, which I love!!

  • 1. When did you get married? June 16, 2007

    2. Where did you register? Target, Linens n' Things and we registered for a couple of things at Pier 1.

    3. What was the most expensive item on your registry? DId you get it? Hmmm? Probably our knife block/set whatever that thing is called. And yes we got it.

    4. What was your favorite gift, from on or off the registry? Our ihome thing that hangs from under our kitchen cabinets. It was expensive but not as expensive as our knife block.

    5. What everyday dishes, stainless, and china/formal dishes do you have? PIP if you wish! Our theme in our kitchen is plum/purple and sage green. Our dishes were from Target, they don't carry them anymore. We didn't register for china, I'm not a china kind of girl.
