How "good" of a citizen are you?
Do you volunteer? Where?
Do you vote at every election?
Do you donate money/time to any charities?
Do you do any pro bono work at your job?
How "good" of a citizen would you say you are?

Re: How "good" of a citizen are you?
I think I'm a pretty "good" citizen. I volunteer with our atheist group at the Regional Food Bank. I think I've voted in every election but two or three since I registered. We don't currently donate any significant amount to charity, but H and I both discussed the other day that we would like to start making it more of a priority. I guess since my "job" is unpaid, you could say I work pro bono every day.
What I would really love to do once my kids are older, assuming we've worked out a way for DH to go back to school and be able to do his dream job, is get a job with a non-profit, or even basically be a full-time volunteer. I'd also like for us all to do more volunteering together as a family once DS is old enough to go and volunteer. Hopefully my kids will turn out to be awesome citizens.
Do you volunteer? Where? I volunteer with on-campus stuff, but that's about it. I wish I had more time - and a reliable babysitter - to do more stuff in town.
Do you vote at every election? I vote in all the major ones (primaries, presidential etc.), but I don't vote in every.single.election. I'm working on it.
Do you donate money/time to any charities? Every year, I donate to March of Dimes, American Cancer Society and Salvation Army. I've also donated to some military causes.
Do you do any pro bono work at your job? Nope.
How "good" of a citizen would you say you are? I'm definitely a better citizen now than I was in the past. I'm still working on it though - I'd like to be a better one.
I do volunteer. Since I end up coordinating our office's community involvement, I do most every volunteer project that comes up... Junior Achievement, Ronald McDonald House, etc. On my own, outside of work, I volunteer for World Neighbors.
I do not vote at every election. When I don't know enough about the issues or people, I just don't bother with it.
I donate money per all the office charitable organizations that we focus on. Outside of what's encouraged my work, I don't. I strongly believe that giving time to charitable causes is more valued than what little $ I can give.
There is no such thing as pro bono work at my job for me.
I think I'm an average citizen. I could be better, but I'm happy with where I'm at. :-)
Do you volunteer? Where? We volunteer at our church every Sunday, and we work with the Tapestry Project- renovating low-income housing for single parent families in Watchful Eyes. I really wish we were more involved though, it's something I'm looking into.
Do you vote at every election? Honestly, no. I JUST got settled enough in my life to where I'm actually in state for elections.
Do you donate money/time to any charities? We tithe at our church diligently and they in turn donate to church planting and other local Christian charities. I agree with pp that time and effort are more valuable than donating money.
Do you do any pro bono work at your job? Not my day job, but I do pro bono photo sessions every fall for families who receive some kind of government assistance.
How "good" of a citizen would you say you are? I'd say I'm like a 7 out of 10... I could and SHOULD definitely do more.
The people who run the Tapestry Project are friends of H's family. It seems like an awesome organization that is doing great work.
Do you volunteer? Where? I don't have time. I'm too busy teaching at an inner-city college-prep school.
Do you vote at every election? Most, yes. Especially those for the larger seats.
Do you donate money/time to any charities? I donate clothes when I can, and have helped with Habitat for Humanity and other charities with clothing drives at school. I also donate blood on a regular basis, since I have a less than common type.
Do you do any pro bono work at your job? Tons.
How "good" of a citizen would you say you are?
Above average, for sure. I might not be in soup kitchens with homeless people, but I am making a difference with teenagers every day with my job.
Do you volunteer? Where? Yes. PFLAG OKC/EDMOND.
Do you vote at every election? Not every, mainly just the big ones.
Do you donate money/time to any charities? Yes. PFLAG OKC/EDMOND, Oklahoma Beagle Rescue, American Cancer Society.

I think I'm pretty good.
