Okay, I know that this is a bit early to be asking... but I'm unemployed, so I need to take advantage of any coupons, keep an eye on sales, shop around, etc so I can find a good deal before it gets cold.
I lived in CA for the last 4 winters. I don't remember cold weather. Anyone have any good winter boot recs?I need to be able to walk in the snow etc. I don't even remember owning boots... I think I was always drunk in college so I never noticed the cold?
TIA

Re: Winter boots?
Honestly, during the day I wear Hunter rainboots with cashmere socks and fleece liners. They keep my feet dry (unlike Uggs) and warm and the bottom of my jeans are never wet (a huge pet peeve of mine). At night I grin and bear it in more fashionable leather boots.
I hate winter shoe options. Ugh.

Ohh, rain boots. That seems like a great solution! I'm a lucky girl. My hubby works for shopbop.com and so I get a 50% discount.
And yes, ugh, wet jean bottoms... and the salt stains. I think I'm going to miss CA.

Ohhhh... I may have a new obsession. Those socks look so warm and cozy!
And yes, I am a lucky lady. My hubby picked the right job.

Darn, now what color to choose. Brown? Black? Navy?
DH says I have to wait until August 31 because they are having a huge sale then. Mark your calendars.

I have black (shiny) and dark purple. I recommend going with similar colors because they work best with a variety of outfits/liners.

I thought that the dark brown and the navy looked nice. I feel like both could go well with other black or brown accessories.
Thank your DH for me... I'm totally checking out that sale!
Jones, I'm blaming you for this when Alex see the Amex bill next month. Obsessed. Want. Every. Color.
