My co-worker that sits on the other side of the wall of my cube at work is making very loud popping noises with her gum. It makes me want to rip my ears off and stomp on them!! Should I just politely ask her to stop? I have my head phones on, but I can still hear it and I want to SCREAM!
Re: WWYD?
Yeah I agree. I think if I am polite she may not be offended, I just don't want come off as rude in any way.
I think she's being rude doing that and you have every right to ask her to stop. Politely of course. If she thinks your being rude asking her not to do that, too bad.
We have people here who yell over the cubicle walls. Drives me NUTS. And I've asked them not to, however, no dice. It's a bad habit they haven't broken.
Bottom line, cubicle life SUCKS!!
Yes it does suck! This same co-worker is also on the phone with her sister and husband about 20 times a day!
The good news is in a month she will be working from home!
