I have this shower curtain in Chocolate:

I bought this rug the other day, which is suuuuuuuper comfy and feels great on the feet:

I bought the Chocolate colored rug to match the shower curtain, but it really isn't the same color brown. up next to each other, the rug almost has a purplish color to it, so the fact that they don't match exactly really bugs me. I guess if you just walked in the bathroom and glanced at it all together, you probably wouldn't notice. DH days it's not a big deal, but it really bugs me. So, my question is should I stick with the off-Chocolate rug and exchange it for the blue or ivory one? I have blue accents in the bathroom and I figure Ivory compliments the brown.
This wouldn't be such a big deal if I hadn't already been to BBB three times lately, twice with returns. I wonder if they'll start recognizing me soon...
Re: Should I return the rug or deal with it?
The purple undertones would probably bug me too. I would exchange it for the blue and buy the ivory to use while the blue is in the wash.
I just saw that rug the other day when I went to BBB. It looked like it would be so nice to stand on.
I'm obsessed with matching so I would definitely take it back and exchange it. : )
If it was still new and I just wasn't happy with it for any reason, then I'd return it.
However, if it has been used and there's not a material defect, then I'd suck it up and deal with the color variance.

It's not used, once I laid it on the floor I picked it right back up because I was so disgusted. I just got it last night so I still have the receipt and tags.
Thanks!
