We're bored..
Ideas for a date night? I looked on the nest's 100 date night ideas - yeah, literally nothing. We either already do it, or it's something that wouldn't work.. like, I'm not going hiking in 100? weather.. just not gonna happen.. training for a marathon... we don't run.. interesting ideas, but not feesable.
anything?
TIA

My 101
I believe this weekend is the bat festival.. and its free
They have lots of bands vendors etc. If you go early evening might not be too miserable. DH and I are considering it, seems we never get out, and Im all about the free events!
is the bat festival tomorrow?
We'll be at Nutty Brown tomorrow night - you'd think that'd be fun and count as a date - but no, he works there as security, so although I enjoy the show, he's still working -- but way excited still!

I'm realizing my post involves a lot of alcohol
.
We like to go and play bingo occasionally. The place near us is BYOB (the one wiht the giant pink gorilla outside off 183/lamar), at least I think. I know we BYOB and haven't gotten caught doing it.
We also like Peter Pan putt putt - also BYOB.
Sometimes we go to dinner and then heading to Simplicity for a few drinks & chatting. . . sometimes we'll do the Burnet road pub crawl (only to prob 2-3 bars for a drink). Lots of interesting people to watch
.
Occasionally, we'll go downtown earlier and do tapas/apps for dinners and restaurant hop to 2-3 places. Get a drink, apps, chat, and then go to the next place and repeat. Its pretty fun and a lot of places have reasonably priced apps.
Really? Good to know! DH and I want to go here since we've never been.
Here are some things that we like to do:
1) Dinner and a movie at the Drafthouse.
2) Coffee and books at Bookpeople.
3) Bowling and Skeeball at the Highball
4) Walking on South Congress
5) Music/dancing at Lamberts.
