How often should I change my sheets - DH sweats a TON at night
I normally change our sheets weekly. DH just informed me that every night he wakes up drenched in sweat. I'm thinking every 2-3 days, should I change them daily if he's sweating that much? Don't know why he never told me this until now.
Re: How often should I change my sheets - DH sweats a TON at night
Your H should head to the doctor to make sure there isn't some underlying issue that is causing that much sweating. It doesn't seem healthy to sweat that much with no exertion unless your house is a sauna.
Until he gets a diagnosis or an all clear however, I'd change the sheets every couple days and make sure you put a waterproof mattress cover on first. All that sweat can go down into the mattress and cause a host of other issues.

This. DH sweats a lot but we use a fan every night and I have a heavier blanket than he does. Winter months we can get by with the same fan (sometimes) under the same lighter comforter, but I usually have another blanket on top of me. Great bill of health too. At first I thought it could be something but after making the slight adjustments, he doesn't sweat so much.
I like snuggling and sleeping under the same blanket but it is not something we can do in the summer. WAAYYY too hot and humid. DH's body temperature is unbelievable...nice in the winter but way too much for me in the summer. We also have a gortex matress cover which makes it warmer as well (sometimes I even get hot) but it protects our mattress and it's warranty (especially from his sweat that could stain it).
