Re: signing my new name...
A little. I write really slowly when I do mine.
I went from a 10 letter long last name, to just 3. So it's more legible than it was, but I write slowly like a kid learning cursive for the first time and trying really hard lol.
Hubby makes a big scirbble (and our first names are about the same length too) he does like the W and then scirbbles the rest of his first name, then the N then scribbles... it's silly looking.
So I just write out every little letter very neatly and slowly lol. It works I guess.
I still have a few credit cards that haven't been updated yet (or the new card is in the mail)...and when I make a purchase, I never know whether to sign my maiden name or my married name.
And I nearly have a panic attack the other day at a store when the cashier asked to see id (which DOES have my married name). I was worried she was going to question why the 2 names. I must have been stressed because it's probably very common. I just didn't want to hold up the line.
i'm practicing too. and like others, i still sign some things in my maiden name because credit cards are not yet changed over. it'll still take more time for it to feel natural.
on a side note, i cannot wait to go back to school and be a mrs! i think it is going to totally throw off the kids!
