I'm Baaaaaack! =)
Hello girls! I've missed you all dearly and I have some MAJOR catching up to do. I've gotten so far behind, but that's due to an unbelievable perfect wedding and honeymoon. So I won't complain.
I never did get to thank any of you for all of your support, laughs, vibes, and hugs. They helped me transform our wedding into everything we could have ever wanted.
I'll do a short synopsis with a link to my pictures on facebook (since I CAN NOT figure out TN PIP).
I still don't have all my pictures though..my main photographer and good friend Sam suprised me (best suprise ever) by showing up the day before from AZ..she's in the army and had told me she wouldn't be able to come. Her and her husband did infact come though!! All of her editing equipment is in VA and when her husband moves in 2 weeks to be with her she'll get more to me, but for now hers are unedited and the other photographer..it was her first wedding and my backup. Risky, I know. Anywho....

The day of came so fast and my MOH and now SIL was so mad at me for me being so calm. The girls started arriving around 8am and Josh's cousin started hair and makeup. We did have a scare the days leading up to the wedding though. His cousin is pregnant and she isn't due until September, but the lil guy is ready to come out any day. He held out for all of us though. We had a backup plan, but it was such a relief. Josh's mom is suppose to be in the delivery room with her, it was tearing her apart that she couldn't be 2 places at once. Anywho the girls and I shared some laughs and "I can't believe it's.." over mimosas and breakfast. Yummy! We then went and took a few pictures when the limo bus arrived. The bus was fun in itself..we had Step Brothers playing on both of the big screen tvs and some great dance music blasting. So much fun!
Getting Ready Photos
When we got to the island, the weather was beautiful. A golf cart was running around picking up elderly guests and carting them to island (it's a bit of a walk). So while it finished getting our guests I waited in limo bus with my, it was so surreal. Looking out at the island and seeing all of the chairs filled with family and friends. One of our ushers were driving and offered to let my mom drive me over. It was fun trying to stay under the blanket they gave me so as Josh wouldn't see me. Once there everything went SO fast. Before I knew it I was being walked across the bridge and my ILs were being seated. It was then time to step out from behind the bushes and have my parents walk me down the isle. When I stepped out I had to step back..I lost my breath and nearly lost my footing. It was so overwhelming..Josh looked so handsome. The next 10 minutes seemed like seconds. I hugged my mom and dad and Josh took my hands, our officiant began. So girls this is where I tell you I definitely did cry..did you? I looked at all of our family and friends and the smile on my face never left, but the tears rolled down my cheecks and were unstoppable. Josh told me later he's never seen anyone cry so beautifully. Hehe. Josh's vows were perfect and so unbelievable. I knew he could write poetry, but he had yet to for me..he said he saved it for a special occasion. Ahh! It was amazing! Our first kiss was unrehearsed and perfect. From there our recessional began and we walked down the aisle as husband and wife. Afterwards we took a moment down on a bench by the lake to take it all in on our own. It was pretty amazing. Pictures followed and though I wish we would have gotten more bridal party pics, I'm happy with what we got.

On to the bus ride to the reception, oh my oh my..there was nothing sane about it, haha. Lots of drinks, laughs, and dancing. When we arrived at the reception all we were suprised by my FIL..it's a tradition in the town we grew up in that when you are in the Volunteer Fire Departement you and your new wife take a ride on #1 (a open cab engine..that is no longer in service) around town with lights and sirens. It was so much fun and so unexpected. Our videographer even hoped own and got some amazing footage..I can't wait to see the video!
Then the introduction came. Then dinner (delicious!) Now on to our cake cutting. The cake was gorgeous and we went to cut the cake and didn't think about cutting through the ribbon (we should have went under the ribbon)..well we broke the knife..it was hilarious! Now I knew we wouldn't be "nice" to one another when it came to feeding one another the cake, but Josh smeared from my nose to my visable clevage. I was covered, hahaha. I got him good, but no where near as good as he got me.
The speeches were next and they were perfect. My SIL made me cry, Josh's best man from PA made me tear up, and his best man from VA, who is also one of my best friends, made me cry (unexpected).
The amount of people dancing was insane. There was a good 20 people on the dance floor at all times, if not more. Our DJ even commented on how great our guests were. It was a total blast. I wish we would have got to dance a bit more, but we were trying to visit each table and thank everyone for coming. The traditional money dance was a blast and I've never been picked up and twirled so many times in my life. It went on for a least 45 minutes. I was pretty exhausted by the end, but thank goodness for all of my dance training and endurance, haha.
From here things get a bit blurry. Not because I was drunk or anything, but because everything happened so fast. One of my bridesmaids was dancing with everybody..well everybody was dancing with everybody actually, haha. It was all very harmless. For a little bit of background info this bridesmaids mother's boyfriend has made numerous sexual advances at her and tends to get jealous of any guy around her. I invited him because I didn't want her mom (practically another mother to me) to be with her significant other. Well while me and said bridesmaid were in the bathroom her mom's boyfriend approached our best man and sucker punched him. He was immediately kicked out and charges were pressed. Our best man had to get 6 stitches, dental work, ct scan, and go to the chiropractor. I found out after the fact and broke down. I was okay until I saw him, I felt so bad and partially responsible. Josh and the rest of his guys and family went to handle everything and I sat down in a chair in the corner and cried. Thank goodness for some amazing friends and family because they cheered me up.
Before I knew it the our last song played and the music stopped. I couldn't find Josh and I started calling out that I wanted my husband we needed to have our last dance. Well he heard me and came. Spun me out to the dance floor and we danced our last danced to no music what so ever. It was in a weird way, perfect. We were then practically kicked out and drugged on to the bus to take us to the hotel. We wanted to stay, but our friends and family insisted we needed to go do what newelyweds do.
I wouldn't change one thing.

Ida! You were such a beautiful bride! You and Josh look SO happy in every pic! I love the cranes! Your vision came out amazing! Thats my fav thing about being a knottie is seeing everyones vision come to life! Beautiful! I love the dip on the bridge! Congrats!
P.s. I paged you a few posts down, I was asking how Josh liked your hot sexy b pic album you made him? Did you give it to him the night before? We're you with him or did you leave it for him?
