Recommend your vacuum for pet hair on hardwoods?
We have two big dogs and they shed incessantly...sweeping/swiffering would have to happen every day to keep floors clean. I need a good vacuum for bare floors (and area rugs). Any suggestions? TIA ~
Re: Recommend your vacuum for pet hair on hardwoods?
We have 3 cats, 2 of whom shed a ridiculous amount. Since we bought our Roomba, we haven't had to vacuum or sweep our laminate once. When I mop, I do it after running the Roomba. It has been the best investment ever and doesn't kick up any pet hair or dust like even my hepa-filter vacuum does. (I still have to run the regular vacuum once a week over the carpets, but not on the laminate.)
ETA: You will have to perform regular maintenance on the Roomba if there's a lot of pet hair. But it's easy and quick.
I have two dogs, both shed little to moderate however the dust in our apartment is out of control. I have a hoover windtunnel canister and absolutely love it. It is very easy to clean out the canister and wash the filter. It is amazing to see how much it picks up. It is a very powerful little vacuum. I did a ton of research on reviews and best value because they can get a bit pricey. Found mine for around $300. Here is a link to it on Hoover's website. http://www.hoover.com/product.aspx?model=S3765040&ds=false
I use my roomba in my hardwood rooms (bedrooms). I LOVE it. It gets under the bed with no work from me. It is time consuming to clean out if you don't use it as often as you should.. like me.
On my carpets I use my dyson and my kitchen I use the swiffervac.
I 2nd this.
Same here... love it!
Me too! I got an attachment with mine that is specifically for bare floors but even the bare floor setting on the vacuum is amazing!
I gave you life, then you gave me mine.

We have the Shark Multi Vac and we love it. I use to borrow my mom's Dyson but I like this one more than hers. We only paid $80 at Sam's Club. It also has a "Never Loses Suction" warranty for 5 years. We love this vacuum.
