This weekend...
was the Antiques Roadshow! It was AWESOME! We brought 4 things (old toys, binoculars, and Greg's grandmother's watch) and the watch ended up being a big surprise! It was worth about $500! AND, the case we brought it in apparently doesn't go with the watch... it's from about 1850-1860! (the watch is from around 1900-1920). The appraiser said that if we could find the watch that actually went with the case that it could be worth a good chunk of change!
They didn't let us take any pictures inside, but we took these while we waited in line!
We spent the rest of the day sightseeing and visiting the monuments!
Then, I started having cramps. I posted on here earlier about being worried because I haven't gotten my period in FOREVER. So, for the first time ever, I thought, "Sweet! Cramps!"
I thought for sure that my period was coming, so Greg and I decided to fully enjoy ourselves on our little getaway, and we totally did it. Then we get back and... still no period. I took my temp this morning, and it's gone up. I checked with the ladies on the Getting Pregnant board, and the cramps I felt were most likely ovulation cramps.
So... I'm pretty sure that we had sex RIGHT as I was ovulating. Ummmm yeah. I'll be checking back in about 2 weeks to see how this turns out! We both talked about it and said that we'd be happy, but nervous, our finances would be tight, but we'd still be happy.
Still, we said we wanted to wait for a year for good reasons. Eih yi yi, we'll see!

And I'm dying a little at the fact that you had ovulation sex. Oh my my...everything happens for a reason though, right?? I took my very last BCP on Saturday night, but I am just going to do the whole tracking/charting thing and hopefully we won't see any babies in the next 9 or 10 months...I'd like babies to still be a year or two away for sure. Hell, I've been having sex for 10 years and no baby yet, so I'm just going to think positively, haha

FWIW, I sometimes get cramps a couple of days before my period actually starts.
