Slow day at work (so far)

So apparently all my coworkers decided to work from home today and leave me alone in the office. And the work coming in is a little slow.

I'm really wishing i had brought my thankyou notes into work to do them now. cause im a little bored.

Ditto. It's a rainy quite day here at the office too. I have work to do I just don't want to do it. So I've been looking at houses in Atlanta all morning.

Ugh. My day is dragging too. And I have this lingering sinus infection that won't quit so I am feeling nauseous and stuffy...

What I wouldn't give to be home in my bed... Off to heat up my Smart Ones Chicken Parm (meh =/)

I think job market is a little better down there - not really sure yet since we haven't started looking at jobs. I've only done some occassional browsing. As long as one of us can find a job and we would be able to live off that salary for a little while, we'll move. Our job search will begin after the 1st of the year.

exciting!! i tried looking for something else here but my skills are so job-specific that theres nothing i qualify for right now in the salary range id need. so sticking at may current place for now.

the whole market just blows. lol

See it's easier for H to look for a job because he knows what he wants....a teaching job. Me on the otherhand...I definitely don't want to stay with what I'm doing (I only took this job because I needed a job when we moved up here!) and I have interest in doing lots of different things. I don't know if that helps in looking for a job or not. I guess we'll have to see what happens.
