Kinda rude
Ok, so I have a bunch of friends from college who all hang out together, I haven't seen several since my wedding, but we're all reuniting in the next couple of weeks for one of their weddings and bridal showers next week.
I invited them all to my wedding, and one of them brought this other girl as her guest. Someone I don't know very well, but know of and don't particularly like. Whatever, I didn't really care, fine!
So I just went into the evite for my friend's bridal shower which is at a fancy tea place in ghiradhelli square in SF next weekend. It's $50 a person and when I asked how much extra I should bring (assuming we're paying for ourselves and the bride), the host said that the bride's parents are paying, which is incredibly nice of them considering 2 weeks later they have this huge 3 day wedding. Well, I see on the evite that even though she's not invited, one of the girls is bringing this other girl again!
Maybe I'm overreacting, but I feel like showers should be limited to the invitees only and it's rude to bring a guest, esp to such an expensive affair! No one really knows this girl, she's just a friend of 2 of the others who they happen to bring to every single event! Kinda annoying imo!
