Hey! You said you were interested in hearing about my experience from the restaurant on Friday, so here goes! It was delicious! It was a little pricey, but I expected that going in. Plus we splurged on things since it was date night. We got deviled eggs and homemade potato chips and cheese crsips with three dips for appetizers. The dips were onion, pimiento cheese and "Green Goddess" dip which was guacamole and something mized together. Very yummy. We also got a couple of drinks. Daniel got a fried chicken salad for dinner and I got butternut squash and mascarpone raviolis in a sage brown butter sauce. So good! I also got red velvet cake which was really good, but I don't have any pics because I got it to go. Here are the pics.

Re: Krystal
Awwwwwwwwwwwwm that meal sounded wonderful. I love everything about it, the green goddess appetizer sounds something right up my alley. Cheese crispis look pretty tasty, too!!! Butternut squash is one of my new fave vegetables right now, too!!! Hmmmm, what a wonderful dining experience, and thanks for sharing Maresha!
I'm now inspired to make homemade ravioli with butternut squash and macarapone with the sage butter sauce. I've done the sage butter sauce a million times....but making homemade ravioli is on my bucket-cooking list!!
If you ever come out to DC we should go together!
The ravioli was creamy and little sweet. So yummy. And I'm sure you can make the ravioli no problem!
Yes, I'll hold ya to that. We'd love to meet you and Daniel! DC is definitely on top of list our places to visit.
Ravioli is one of my fave pasta dishes...its Italian comfort food that I lovey-dovey. (Did you know I love Japanese curry like you- I think its one of your fave dishes...I'm learning how to make this as well. Once I figure everything out, I'll make sure to send you the recipe!)
