okay, you asked for it . . .
I am only posting a "bare" belly because I went to the Renaissance Faire this weekend and decided to get henna'ed. the artist LOVES doing bellies and asked me if I would be willing, and of course I said yes. It should stay for a few weeks. It's a shame because her artistry is beautiful but it's not like I'm going to walk around in a crop top, so I'm sharing with you guys. 34 1/2 weeks.

That is a pretty phenomenal 34 week belly. From what you have posted before it looks like your belly hasn't changed too much in this trimester.
Your baby ate your belly button.
For less then ten cents a day, you can feed a hungry child.
i love getting henna. and that is a very modest belly pic and you don't have scasry stretch marks.

thanks, guys. I'm still cowaring in the corner waiting for stones to be thrown. But I just had to share.
I feel good . . . except for the whole sleeping thing. I walked outside in 90F plus humidity for 6 hours on Sat and while I was sore, it felt great. being active is definately better for me than not. And while there's no stretch marks on the belly yet, the rest of my body is falling on the sword. I have some small ones on the backs of my thighs and on my buttcheeks. weird.
I'm getting skeered, honestly. Not of the birth, but that afterwards I'm going to have this little person that we're responsible for and will be depending on us for it's life. EEEP. but I can't wait to have my outside babeh.
no, I don't dress up. but the people watching is FAN-EFFING-TASTIC times infinity. There's all these little shows going on throughout the faire that are mostly lame but cute (like ladies/lord dance, jesters, fire whips, mud shows, etc), and there are "characters" paid to walk around and everyone says "good day, m'lady." there are lots of "shops" to get mostly weird renaissance-y stuff (chain metal bikini, anyone? sword? axe? stuffed dragon? etc.) but there are also some other booths with felted hats and animals, candles, soaps, etc. too. And the Faire food is absolutely ORGASMIC. That's pretty much why I go. I see the mushroom man every year and bring home a couple quarts.
You do look very good for 34 weeks -- you're so close.
Now, tell me more about the Faire food. I assumed it was all turkey legs and grog.

the ren faire is fun because it's kind of bawdy during the day (like PG13, even though it's a "family" type event and there are lots of kids) and then turns NC17 around 6 PM. lots of cleav hanging out, dudes in REALLY tight tights, etc. a lot of the faire-goers do dress up--ranges from throwing on a pair of fairy wings to wearing full court dresses, headpieces, and I've seen some scary dudes in these long black robes with skeery metal masks on. anything goes.
ooooh, the food. well, there IS turkey legs and grog. But I had a spinach calzone, chai, portabella burger, spicy chicken wings, roasted nuts, english toffee . . . there's also bbq chicken, pork (sliders!), pizza, shepard's pie, turkey/avacado pitas, steamed artichokes with butter, tempuras, ice creams, gelatos . . . I'm telling you guys, I could eat there every day for a week. There are over 20 different food booths.
