Update: Grandma's diamond & necklace
For those who didnt see the OP...I inherited my grandma's wedding band/engagement ring. After sitting in my jewelry box for nearly 7 years, I had the diamond remounted, in the original setting, so I could wear it as a necklace. I absolutely LOVE the results. (Also...I decided to purchase the necklace through the jeweler, and he apologized in person for his rude sales lady) Here's a picture.
