We moved into a new apartment about 3 months ago and I have just discovered the source of the major bug problem in our kitchen. I pulled the air freshener we keep in one of the plugs out to change it and bugs came out of the outlet and a bunch had died around it. Is it safe to remove the plate over the outlet to clean out the outlet? If so, what do you think the chances are that a zillion bugs will come swarming out? Any help is appreciated.
Re: Bug problem
I agree. Call management.
i agree that you should call the management company since you are in an apartment.
if you have access to the breaker box, and can turn off the electric to that outlet, than taking the outlet cover off will be perfectly safe.
