I know, I thought it was either MUD or just plain old S&M. But the ladies posted different blogs where apparently this is commonplace. One woman has her husband ground her, put her in time out, take away privileges, put hot sauce in her mouth and put her in the corner for cussing, and for the "worst" offenses, spankings and whippings. Apparently the "HOH', or head of household, has to administer these punishments to keep his wife in line, submissive, respectful, and obedient, the way God intended. It's effing unbelievable.
That is unbelievable. Despite all the protestings those blogs had about it not being sexual, it clearly has strong sexual overtones. I hope they don't teach their kids this is ok!
Also, Jesus does not think it's ok to hurt anyone, especially the one you love!

I can't imagine anyone being offended by your feelings. To me, this is just an S&M relationship, but since they're religious, to give in to this would be dirty and wrong, so they just come up with a convenient way to explain it under the cover of religion.

So when DH got home tonight, I asked him to come listen to something and that I wanted a candid reaction from him. I read him one of the entries from that girl's blog expecting him to be as appalled as I was. When I was finished I turned to him, and with a dead serious face he says
"so? Just how it should be."
I was aghast and started to freak out at which point he cracked a smile and started laughing hysterically! Gosh, man! I nearly had a heart attack

Although I did come across an even more disturbing blog. This woman's husband not only whips her, he forcibly sodomizes her as well when she gets really "out of control". The sick thing is that their kids know about it, and will leave them alone so Mom can get punished when she deserves it.
