I just got a call from my SIL in OK that my BIL in ND is in the ICU. They don't know what's wrong with him, but it's really serious. He's not breathing on his own continuously and his system is starting to shut down. He's only a year older than DH. The last thing I want to do is have to tell DH that he's lost his brother, especially when he's thousands of miles away.
Please send vibes that the doctors figure out whats wrong and he gets better soon!
*UPDATE*
The area BIL was working in got to be over 140 degrees and when he got done he talked to someone then can't remember anything after that. It appears he got heat stroke at work. He's stable but they've covered him in ice packs to get his temp down. His legs keep cramping and he doesn't breathe during those attacks. But it sounds like he's going to come through with no permanent damage!
