Magical Nestie Vibes

DH submitted his resume for two possible management positions where he is working now.  This would be huge for us!  He went from a supervisor from his other company to where his is now and endured a 75% pay cut in the process.  His health was far more important than a pay check (they treated him so badly there and had him working a minimum 80 hours a week with no overtime because he was on salary, not to mention the hour drive to get there.  ANYWAY, he really likes where he is now, but he's in the cleaning division and it requires him to do a lot of heavy lifting.  That was great for the first few years but his back can't handle it anymore making him a very grouchy man!  Any spare vibes would be awesome!  It would be nice to see him back into a position he loves and w/o the 200/week chiro bills for his back!

  • Huge, giant ::job vibes:: for your hubs!!! Ted has a bad back also and sometimes he's so grumpy because of it - I understand, but it makes me stressed also. I wish he would go to the chiro (he loves going) but it's not covered in his insurance so we would have to pay out of pocket - one reason we're trying our hardest to get out of debt so we can easily afford this. His back is injured from a work related injury that occurred probably 4 years ago. I personally think he got a bad workman's comp doctor and that's why he's still having problems, but it's too late to address that issue. Wow, sorry for hijacking the post! I hope this works out for you guys.

Nope, it's ok...totally understand.  My biggest issue is I've had back problems since 12...specifically I've had almost the identical issue as him in the past several years yet he swears he's the only one who hurt this bad, had this happen, blah blah friggity blah and when I tell him "I know" he looks at me like I have 2 heads.  Him being grouchy = me being grouchy and it's no fun for anyone.  Zip it!

Thanks ladies, I'll keep you updated.
