Tuesday Confessions

I bought some pads at Publix the other day (stocking up for postpartum fun) and skipped the 2 shortest lines because the check out people were young high school looking guys. I made a bee line for the line with the old lady cashier.Embarrassed

Make sure you don't use Always pads.

Why not Always? The new ones rock and I wish they had them when I was younger.

  • There are a couple of cashiers at the Publix nearest me that I'd rather wait in line for 20 minutes than stand in their lines for 20 seconds. One is an older lady with less than stellar English and is slower than molasses in January and the other is a skeevy dude who's always keeping me updated and chatting me up about his love life. I worked with both of them when I worked there in HS and I still avoid them.

I injured myself again on the Wii Fit the other night. The Segway game is just too exciting.

Yeah, why not Always?!  Not that it matters to me, but I'm just curious (for future reasons, I guess)!

I'm curious to know too.  I haven't bought any pads--(although I have some in the house) I was told to stock up on the ones they give you at Northside. Embarrassed

  • For post partum women, Always pads have been known to cause a severe, painful itchy dermatitis-like rash on your lady bits, bum and thighs. You're already sore down there anyway, so I'm sure adding this is no fun!
  • I got Kotex (had a coupon that I was equally embarrassed about cutting out).
