Are you changing your email?
For those of you who use your last name (maiden) for your personal email address, are you keeping that email address or will you be creating a new one with your new married name?

I thought I would need a new email address last year when I graduated, so I made one then, and some people still use my old email, which I still have, since I now work at the university.
I doubt I'll change it any time soon. It's too much of a hassle to get those stubborn people to change it in their address books.

This is what I'm thinking of doing. I just haven't gotten it together to actual do. Maybe tonight.
Yup and this is what I did! I actually have everything from the new e-mail forwarded to the old as well, because I have a Droid which is linked with your g-mail account. Unfortunately you can't change your e-mail in your Droid after the initial set-up, so I probably should have made my new e-mail with my new name back in March when I got the phone, but I thought 4 months was too early. But this way I can still read stuff on my Droid right away from my new e-mail... Forwarding is a wonderful thing
I did. I made a new one and I use it for some things...
Facebook updates still goes to my maiden name email. And a lot of "junk" emails go there...I'm slowly switching, but I'm not trying that hard lol.
I changed mine right away, and just sent people an e-mail asking them to update their address books. I was ready for a new one - I was getting way too much junk mail.
My work e-mail changed, too...this was more difficult, because I know my clients are having a hard time remembering my new name. My old work e-mail will stay active indefinitely, so at least I won't miss anything.

I'm getting a Droid at the end of next month! I guess this gives me a reason to set up that new email account sooner rather than later.
What Droid do you have? DH and I are both going to get the Incredible I think. His upgrade is available now so I might order it for him this week. We'll see how he likes it.
I had my work email changed right away on my first day back, but I'm still working on making a new one up for my personal email. Since I only use my maiden names 1st letter I might not change my personal one.
Maybe DH and I will just make one together ... but for now I have my work email, school email & personal email so between all 3 of them someone can correctly get a hold of me. Let's hope at least! lol
