Re: reputable intown tire place?

  • I wish I knew of one. I drive home to my old home town to get my car serviced.
  • We recently got tires at Sears (at Cumberland)--DH did a bunch of research before he decide to go there--Costco was slightly cheaper but doesn't give you the free balancing/alignment after the fact so he felt in the long run it was worth the extra $20/tire.
  • i go to discount tires off old milton pkwy.  i have been going to them for about 3 years now and have no complaints and dont feel like i am getting ripped off.  always very friendly.

I went with Sears for my old SUV for this reason. It was so easy to be able to pull up and get the tires serviced and get back on with my day

My new car is still warrantied but not the tires so I'm buying the tire I need right now online @ tirerack.com (there's either a roofing tack OR a bobby pin in the sidewall Angry)  and then having it put on at Tires Plus or Goodyear, depending on who they'll ship to for free.

  • We use the Goodyear Tire on North Druid Hills at Tocco Hills shopping center.  Always good and quick service.  Never had any problems with them and we've had LOTS done on our cars.  We've price checked them with other places and they have never given us the high quote.  Our bill is ALWAYS the same as the quote.

  • Armor Tire in the East Atlanta Village.  Gene is a great guy and has lots of loyal customers, for good reason.
