Natural alternative to Febreeze?

New to this board, but I've been trying to reduce the chemicals used in my home for most of this year. Febreeze is one of the few I have yet to find a natural alternative for. Does anyone know if such a thing exists?

    I've not tried any of these myself, but I've heard they work. The ones with fabric softener are, our course, only as green and chemical free as your fabric softener.

    Fake Febreeze #1
    1 1/2 cups of water
    1 tablespoon of baking soda
    1-2 tablespoons of fabric softener

    Fake Febreeze #2
    1 part Vodka
    1 part water
    Add a couple drops of essential oil

    Fake Febreeze #3
    1 cup fabric softener
    1 cup white vinegar
    2 cups water

    I use 50/50 white vinegar and water.  works great on upholstry,  carpet, and I've even used it on jeans and tossed them in the dryer for a minute.

    I do this. You could add a few drops of essential oil to give it a nice scent if you like.

    There is an all natural air freshener out there.  I can't remember the name of it but it is sold in Whole Foods in their household cleaners area.  It comes in three scents (it is made of essential oils):  Lavender, Vanilla, and Orange.  We love to use the vanilla scent in the bathroom because it smell like cookies.  My dad, a hotel housekeeping supervisor, loves to use the orange sent in the kitchen before meals because it actually increases appetites.  The lavender scent can be overwhellming.  Just a note, only use two sprays because it is concentrated.  Don't use on wood becuase they contain essential oils.

    LOL I have to say I find cookies in the bathroom sort of an odd juxtaposition!

    I have some linen spray from CrunchyClean that I love.
