thank you cards
I haven't posted in a long time, but had a question for you girls.
What is the time line in sending out thank you cards from our wedding? We sent them out to our immediate family, but still working on getting the rest out.

HH and I did all of the thank you's the week we got back from the HM. I'm the kind of person that needs to just get it done or it'll never get done.
I agree with PP that 2 months is what the etiquette time line says.

I need to just sit donw and do like 10 a day and then before I know it they will all be done..I'm such a procrastinator
It's definitely two months, and I definitely haven't finished mine yet. I am about halfway through, but I just don't want to send out the ones that I have done already and then have the rest wonder why they didn't get one. I actually was JUST downstairs organizing them into little piles, and if I do one pile a day I should be done in about a week. Since I'm a teacher and the end of the school year was hectic, and then we went on a big HM this summer that everyone knows about, I don't feel super guilty about them not being done yet. I figure if people get them by the beginning of September they shouldn't judge me too much.
Also, as you all know, my HH hasn't actually BEEN home this summer really. He has either been away for work, or our HM, since July 1. So since he is doing his own thank you's, I figure that his whole side will give him a lot of leeway, and I know he'll get them finished within just a day or two of being back because he's like that.
I was always told 3 months was the time frame. So many people wait on photographers nowadays for photos, i think people understand if they are alittle late.
I actually just sent my last batch out yesterday because i ran out of cards and had to have my photographer order more. But the bulk of mine went out about 3 weeks ago.
