You know what I don't understand the appeal of?
Perfume. I just don't get it. If you take a shower, you'll smell fine! You don't need to spray smelly stuff all over yourself. And most perfumes don't even smell that good in my opinion.
Re: You know what I don't understand the appeal of?
I'm wearing Clinique Happy Heart (the regular Happy is too citrusy to work with my body chemistry). I usually reserve it for the colder months, but I've felt like wearing something a little more sophisticated than B&BW's Velvet Tuberose lately.
Does anybody else find that most popular scents just don't work with your body? When I was trying to find a perfume for the wedding, I tried B&BW's P.S. I Love You, and it was just not going to work. But they briefly had something called P.S. I Love You Spring Fling (or something) that smelled good on me. I seem to need the spinoffs... LOL
My signature scent is Armani "Elle". I've worn it for years, and it smells sooo amazing. It doesn't smell so great in the bottle (I mean, it's fine, but nothing to shake a stick at) but it smells really good on me. I get compliments on it ALL the time, whenever I get close enough for someone to smell it. AKA I don't bathe in it, so you'd have to be pretty tight with me to catch a whiff
Guys used to use it as a pick up line when I was single, haha
Actually...funny story about it...a few days before HH and I got engaged, I walked past my FIL in the kitchen, and he was like "Woah! You smell delicious!" and he leaned riiiiiiiight in and gave my neck a big sniff. It was kind of awkward. Actually, it was really awkward.
But yeah, I love perfume. Just makes me feel more feminine.
i like perfume but always forget to put it!!! I'd love to find a new one though,
Currently my favorites are
Pink- Victoria Secrets
Happy Heart- Clinque
Eternity-Calvin Klein
In college, I used to wear Paris Hilton's perfume... as much as I hate the girl, I LOVE that perfume! I walked into one of my classes and some girl was like "what kind of perfume are you wearing, because it smells awesome!!" I told her and she was like "Huh, I thought Paris Hilton would smell like SLUT"
You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through.
If you were in my shoes, you'd fall the first step."
I LURVE perfume! I don't wear it everyday because I find it annoying in the work place. (well in a kitchen anyways). And I can't stand it when people COAT themselves in it. Ugh. But I do wear it whenever I actually get dressed and go somewhere. I agree with PPs that it makes your wardrobe feel complete.
I wear Burberry Beat or this perfume from fresh. that's redcurrant and basil. They have some pretty awesome scents but they are a little pricey.
please tell stories more often. the 'actually, it was really awkward' put me over the edge.
