I usually lurk and steal your advise (Thanks!). I have gotten some great tips here. Do you have any tips for getting me off my butt and cleaning my messy house?? HAHAHA!

I second the putting on running shoes.
Also, if you're sitting on the couch thinking of getting motivated but can't get up- wait. Eventually you'll get up to go to the bathroom, get a drink of water, answer the phone, etc. Once you're up, don't sit down until you're out of stuff to do.
Another thing I do is when I have the energy but no motivation, I clean myself. I take off my make up, wash my face, put on some cold cream, brush my teeth, etc. Once I feel clean I'm more inspired to clean the house.
1. play good music (i usually like something i can sing and dance to)
2. invite people over for that night or the next night- that gives you a real deadline, and makes you get it done before they come over!
also, watching an episode of Hoarders can be very inspiring!
LOL about watching Hoarders. I am usually so appalled by how anyone can live in such filth!
I went to the store and got a Redbull. Did the trick! House looks awesome now!!!
One thing I do is clean during commercials on television.
Also maybe give yourself x number of minutes to clean a room and see how long it takes you.
Music helps, too.
