Was it already discussed here?
I wanted to climb into the book and beat Hilly to a pulp. I wish it didn't end. I wanted to know more about what happened to the characters and Skeeter in NY.

If I remember correctly, she didn't like Skeeter, but felt that the author was trying to make her identify with the character anyway. And there was toilet humor, and we all know how Fallin feels about that.

It's just one of those books that's better to view in standard definition and not HD. It's better not to see all the wrinkles and giant pores and acne.
We discussed the book over on the Nest Book Club board, but it was a number of months ago so I don't know if you could dig up any of the old posts.

I read it a few months ago and really loved it.

I loved The Help. There are always flaws in any great book depending on the perspective of the reader, but sometimes you just have to let a story wash over you.
In a similar genre, I will recommend The Kitchen House by Kathleen Grissom which I finished a couple of weeks ago. Excellent. I read it in less than two days.
