Friday night my Papaw had a stroke. I had just laid down at about 12:30 when my sister texted me and asked what was wrong with him. Well, I had no idea so I called my mom and she was on her way to his house. The ambulance was already there to pick him up so I met them at the ER. He wasn't at that hospital for more than an hour when they said he had a bad stroke and needed to get to a bigger hospital ASAP. I saw the CT scan and he had a very big bleed on his brain.
I had to work at 8 Sat. morning so I stayed home but my mom and her two sisters went to the bigger hospital with him. Fast forward to today and he is still in the hospital and not doing well. They want to do surgery tomorrow, but have really been putting it off because the bleed is centered around his communication center. If something goes wrong it will be really bad.
Well, yesterday my sister and I were going to see him. I was driving her car (which used to be mine and is only 3 years old) and we broke down. I was going about 55 and pushed the gas and nothing happened. Suddenly the engine just stopped running. Luckily, I was driving and not her. I just coasted over into a parking lot. We had to have it towed and we didn't get to see our papaw.
Just say an extra prayer for us. We are going to try to go see him again today so I hope nothing else goes wrong.
Sorry that was so long. (And if there are any typos.)

Like Leigha, I noticed something was up via FB, but since the stauses were limited in information, I didn't want to ask...
Lots of T&P coming your way.

Kaley, I'm soooo sorry to hear this, sending my T&P to you and your family. It's a really scary and difficult thing to have happen (my dad had a massive stroke last February and he is still getting better little by little).
