Heartbreaking, indeed.
My cynical side/newsroom experience, however, wonders if the dying woman was conscious enough to even know what was happening, or if the fiance just went ahead with a wedding to make sure he would get custody of the child...
Kind of thought of that too. Wondering how bad she was.
Seems like the officiant would have to make sure she was of sound mind in order to get married. I mean you have to say "I do" right? Also they had the wedding planned only a month or so away if I remember right. And if he is the father of the child wouldn't he get custody regardless of their marital status?

I don't think it would have been custody so much, but it will (hopefully for their sake) make any legeal issue run smoother or easier.
I just wonder what kind of injuries she had and how with it, she was If she was doing better and than took an unexpected turn for the worse.
All of it is so sad.
Yep, I wondered about that too.
