You know what I don't understand the appeal of?

Perfume.  I just don't get it. If you take a shower, you'll smell fine! You don't need to spray smelly stuff all over yourself. And most perfumes don't even smell that good in my opinion.

  • I LOVE perfume!!!  Right now I'm wearing "Oscar".  LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

  • It probably doesn't help that I'm allergic to it lol. The only scents I like are sweet fruity scents and vanilla. but even if I have a body spray or something that I like  I rarely wear it!

  • I wear perfume or body spray every day... I don't bathe in it, though. It helps me pull together mentally for the day, if that makes sense. I consider it part of my wardrobe.
  • I like perfume too, although I do agree alot of it doesn't smell good at all. My favorite is Bermuda Blue by Nautica but right now I'm wearing Aromadisiac (sp?) from Avon, its smells really good.

  • I used to wear perfume everyday, but now I only wear it a couple times a month.  I like it and all, but I just never remember to put it on.

  • Putting on perfume is part of my daily routine right after I brush my teeth.... I get one spray to the chest (that's what she said, haha), and one on the left wrist which I then transfer to the right....

  • I'm wearing Clinique Happy Heart (the regular Happy is too citrusy to work with my body chemistry). I usually reserve it for the colder months, but I've felt like wearing something a little more sophisticated than B&BW's Velvet Tuberose lately.

Does anybody else find that most popular scents just don't work with your body? When I was trying to find a perfume for the wedding, I tried B&BW's P.S. I Love You, and it was just not going to work. But they briefly had something called P.S. I Love You Spring Fling (or something) that smelled good on me. I seem to need the spinoffs... LOL

  • Yeah, I dont wear perfume every day, but I agree that when I do, it makes me feel more "ready." Sounds weird but I guess its just a mental thing. I wear Lovely by SJP and I always get compliments on it.
  • Another one of my favorites.... Victoria's Secret "Pure Seduction"... I haven't used it in a while since I got "Oscar", but I use the body spray and the lotion.

  • I looove my perfumes!  Currently I am wearing Vera Wang - present from DH.
The Bump ate my signature. DD - Apr 2011 DS - expected June 2013
  • My signature scent is Armani "Elle".  I've worn it for years, and it smells sooo amazing.  It doesn't smell so great in the bottle (I mean, it's fine, but nothing to shake a stick at) but it smells really good on me.  I get compliments on it ALL the time, whenever I get close enough for someone to smell it.  AKA I don't bathe in it, so you'd have to be pretty tight with me to catch a whiff ;)  Guys used to use it as a pick up line when I was single, haha

Actually...funny story about it...a few days before HH and I got engaged, I walked past my FIL in the kitchen, and he was like "Woah!  You smell delicious!"  and he leaned riiiiiiiight in and gave my neck a big sniff.  It was kind of awkward.  Actually, it was really awkward.

But yeah, I love perfume.  Just makes me feel more feminine.

That would probably freak me out a little....

In college, I used to wear Paris Hilton's perfume... as much as I hate the girl, I LOVE that perfume!  I walked into one of my classes and some girl was like "what kind of perfume are you wearing, because it smells awesome!!"  I told her and she was like "Huh, I thought Paris Hilton would smell like SLUT"

  • We're technically not supposed to wear purfume, and since lots of our patients have problems with smells causing nausea after their chemo, I try not to wear it.  I have a bottle of Versace something on the bathroom counter, and usually I forget to put it on when we go out, since I hardly ever wear it.  It was my wedding present from Adam.

  • I LURVE perfume!  I don't wear it everyday because I find it annoying in the work place.  (well in a kitchen anyways).  And I can't stand it when people COAT themselves in it. Ugh.  But I do wear it whenever I actually get dressed and go somewhere.  I agree with PPs that it makes your wardrobe feel complete.

I wear Burberry Beat or this perfume from fresh. that's redcurrant and basil.  They have some pretty awesome scents but they are a little pricey.

  • I don't wear it daily because it makes me feel too "fancy" for everyday life.  Haha....but I do love wearing it.  I've worn Dream Angels Desire (Victoria's Secret) for years and I wore Very Sexy Noir (also VS) on the wedding day :)
