I need a hair salon!

Hi Ladies. I'm new to the S. Jersey area (Cherry Hill) and am in need of finding a hair salon. I moved to the area about a year ago, got married three months ago and was driving 1.5 hours to where I grew up to get my hair done...

I've had enough of that and need to find a salon around here! I heard about a salon in Collingswood called Verde but not from anyone who goes there. Unfortunately I work with a bunch of single guys, so they can't point me in the right direction...

Can anyone suggest a good place/stylist? I get highlights as well so a good colorist is a plus!

I'm not sure what your budget is, but I used to go to Kelly at Thrive in Cherry Hill. She is great, but her cuts are $62. Since I don't really have that type of money to put out on a hair cut right now, I've been to Moments in Mt. Laurel and I've been happy with my results there. If you go with a regular stylist, their cuts are $50. They also have new talent stylist which are girls that went to school and are working their way up the chain and building their book. Their cuts are $30. I'm not sure what their highlights run at, but you can go to their website and it lists all the prices. They also have something called last minute specials, so you can get up to 40% off if you book a service off their e-mail. Good luck.

Verde in Collingswood is good. If you go there I would recommend asking for Kevin (the owner) or Samantha....both are great! I would also recommend Rizzieri in Marlton. Brad, Dana and Sam are a few stylists I would suggest going to. GL!

I second Rizzieri. I see Dana but she is leaving in a few months Crying I agree with Brad and Sam...they have both cut my husband's hair.

Thanks for all of the recommendations! I will check them out. Driving 1.5 hours for a hair cut was starting to get ridiculous.

I go to Tenuto's in Collingswood (next to Il Fiore restaurant). Jenn there is awesome and their prices are great.

Ashley or Geysha at Tranquility in Voorhees. I recommended Ashley to Sgt M's Wife and she loved her. Just a disclaimer, I work there but I do skin, not hair
