DH's cousin turns 30 in a few weeks and she really wants to do something special for her birthday. Her friends have pretty much dropped the ball and her parents were going to plan a surprise cookout....which is sooo not what she would want.
So, I took the reigns and am trying to plan something with her friends. I've given the idea of going into Boston for the night - doing a mystery dinner cruise around the harbor, getting a waterfront hotel, and maybe brunch the next morning.
I wanted to provide another option since nobody else can seem to come up with something other than the stuff they would normally do for a 'special event' (ie. go to the casino).
Anybody got some fun ideas?
Re: Ideas for 30th birthday
I think your idea rocks!
You could also do a spa day (what girls doesn't love that) and then go to a comedy show (comedy connection) or a mystery show (sheer maddness is fun) in boston. But honestly I LOVE the cruise idea! It's different and it def isn't something you do all the time! I'll try to keep thinking.
Haha, I love the idea. It's different and totally memorable.
