This Lit a Fire Under Me...
After the google post and googling my maiden name, I found the article wrote about me in a local newspaper my junior year in highschool.
I had forgotten about and it has re-lit my fire. I've been out of dance for far too long. As soon as I can land a job (2nd interview for one Friday) I am getting back into it. I'm going to rock that Rockette audition in the Spring. I know I have it in me.

Kayla: We're in NOVA (That's Northern Virginia). Loudoun County actually. 45 minutes give or take from DC and Baltimore. Where are you moving to?!
Jacqui: That does seem like forever ago, and you were all so supportive. I really need to meet some of you ladies. You're all such wonderful people.
Kim: I'd love to go on there, I have one problem though. No matter what, me and ballroom do not get a long. Even basic steps...I over thing it and I CAN NOT let the guy lead. My old dance teacher still doesn't get it and neither do I..every other style come easy, but ballroom. haha
Lauren: Auditions are always end of April - early May..depends on the scheduling. That is the NYC audition anyway. They do one in LA and Chicago too, but both are a bit far for me.
I would love to see some of you girls and destress a bit. It'd probably have to be before elswhere unless you really felt like waiting in line with me only to be sent away when I go through the doors of Radio City. Only auditioners are allowed in. You girls are so sweet though, we could for dinner the night before or something to help me unwind and get rid of some nerves.
And yes 2nd interview..I just got the time back this morning: 10:45am. I applied for a job at the local optometrist office (only 10 minutes from where we live right now) and the position is for administration, sales, and technician work. It's right up my alley. It'd be a great way to enter myself into the community here too, they've been in business over 20 years and have 4 locations. Yay, for stability! I'm really hoping it works out, we want to buy a house so badly and we "could" now, but it's just too tight on our budget sadly. So here's hoping *fingers crossed*.
Laura: That's a really great idea. I think I'll print it out and frame it. I remember the orginial copy was huge..it spanned an entire page and a half with a picture of me on the ballet barre. I should track that down too...
And this is why I love you all. So supportive.
You just tell me when and I'll be there to support you and have dinner/drinks to destress!
