You know what the cat thinks is funny......
To drop his crinkle ball on my FACE, while I'm sleeping at 2:30am!!! Because he wants to place fetch.
Yea thats how I got woken up!! Needless to say he was kicked out of the room after that.
(And yes my cat plays fetch)
Re: You know what the cat thinks is funny......
My 18 pound cat, Hefner, plays fetch with those little rabbit fur mice and he loves those damn crinkle balls (by the way, is that what they're actually called? I've always called them that).
Before I made the no pets in the bedroom rule, Hefner used to wake me up either by attacking my eyeballs (he apparently liked to watch them move while I was sleeping) or he would jump off of the headboard onto my face!
Thank god, Sam is only 10 pounds and he doesnt pounce, that would scare the crap outta me! LOL
Yes that is what they are called crinkle balls, they originally come with feathers in them, which he proceeds to rip out and he just has the balls. We just ordered him new ones, but haven't given them to him yet.
LOL! he used to sleep quietly at the foot of our bed, but since Jay got the sleeping machine, he doesnt like it. And he normally sleeps in the back bedroom. Occasionally at night, he feels the need to play, so he pushes our door open and comes in, little devil.
I find it so hard to resist this adorable creature!
hahahah omg! he is soooo big!!!
Aww! You both have pretty cats!
My cat plays fetch too!! But she prefers the plastic part you peel off the milk container to open it. We wake up to find them in our bed on a regular basis.
I love when we are watching TV and she jumps up with it in her mouth- kitty wants to play!
I have to admit I love when Sam runs around with that stupid ball in his mouth he looks so cute!
When we first adopted her, we bought her all these cute cat toys- balls, bells, etc. She won't touch any of them- only milk tops and bread ties.
OH! We went on an overnight trip last week to Vermont. I had picked cherry tomatoes from my garden and left them on the counter before we left. When we got home, we found a tomato in the middle of the living room. Yeah, she totally jumped onto the counter, rolled one off, and was playing with it. It had teeth marks and she had left seeds on the carpet.
haha thats too funny!
I might prefer having a ball dropped on my face to loud crying right in my face. That's how one of our cats prefers to wake us up. The other is nice enough to realize when we are sleeping we do not want to be disturbed. But I have woken up to see her right up close examining me to see if I was really asleep.
One of our cats used to play fetch. She absolutely loved it and I was always having to throw her ball. But then the other cat came along and she's a bully who must be the center of attention, so we never get to play fetch anymore. :-(
hahaha! I woke up yesterday morning and stand up to go use the bathroom and one my cat's little bouncy balls falls out of my hair! He must have been trying to get me to play with him and I slept right through it! haha
I was just amazed that the ball got LOST in my hair until I was half way down the hall... time to get it thinned out again!
