No period on Yaz
I've been on Yaz for a little over two years now. My periods were irregular the first several months I was on it; I would either get them the third week of the pack, or get it the last day of the placebo pills and it would only last a day or so. Now, I haven't had a period since last September. My ob/gyn ordered bloodwork done (pregnancy test/thyroid check) and everything was negative/normal. During that time, a few people close to me passed away, so we (doctor and I) more or less chalked it up to stress. I never missed a period prior to going on BCP but read that sometimes the uterine lining basically just doesn't build up enough while on the pill to even "shed."
Also, I just had my annual a couple months ago and everything was completely normal as usual.
Anyone else ever find themselves in a similar situation while on the pill?
