So we have a property available for rent right now, and calls go to my cell phone. A lady called after I had talked to her husband to schedule a viewing, and she asked to speak to my mom when I answered. 
. Guess I sound young - LOL.
BTW - shameless plug - I have a house for rent in central/ncentral austin if anyone's interested 
! I can't ever figure out what zone to call the area we live in!

I've been asked by a door-to-door salesguy if my parents were there. wtf- I may not have had makeup on, but you should try to avoid offending people.

Ugh! That happened to me so often, it played a large part in me cancelling our home phone. Any random call that came in, I'd get, "Can I talk to your parents?" One guy even said (in a very slow voice), "Can I talk to your Mommy or your Daddy?" Um, I might sound young, but I'm pretty sure I don't sound 5! It was funny at first, but eventually it started to tick me off.

Haha - the doortodoor salesmen have done this to me too. Except, I dont even bother to correct them. I just tell them that my mom isn't here and I can't sign anything. . . lol.
