help me and dh pick a color for tops to wear in photo...
hi ladies! dh and i (and our pup!) are getting pictures done this fall at a local lake (w/ a waterfall!) for christmas presents for our parents. the photos will be done during the peak of fall foliage. i plan for each of us to wear dark jeans...but what color tops should we wear? i am at a loss. should we wear the same color top or each wear a different color that meshes well together? what color do you suggest for an outdoor fall photo? thanks ladies!!

I was going to come in and suggest the colors we wore, lol. Because the leaves will already be shades of red, orange and yellow, I'd lean towards colors different from those so you stand out...but you also want to complement the Fall colors too. I remember stressing so much about what to wear for our 2nd anniversary pics...that was almost 3 years ago already, wow.
But anyway, I think soft, earthy greens and browns (Steve wore a plaid button down mostly brown with greens and tans in it), or even a deep eggplant color might be nice. Good idea to be thinking ahead! I was still deciding the night before!
ETA: I just realized the pic in my signature shows a lot of green leaves...I may have some pics on FB that show more colored leaves in the background, I'm not sure. I know we did these right around our anniversary, so mid-October, just to give you an idea of what the leaves may be like.
