What is your farorite drink / wine?
The board is a little slow today so I thought this might get us going.
Currently our favorite wine is Carolina Red by Duplin Wine Co (local North Carolina winery).
Current favorite drink is a version of a Cosmo that we call Sunsetini. It got the name b/c we always drink them when we go to the the beach - Sunset Beach, NC.

April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
I'm such a bore...I don't enjoy the taste of most wine/beer/liquor and don't drink anything with bubbles....
But I do love a virgin strawberry daiquiri or a nice iced tea!
Lately, I've been really digging theSutter Home Moscato. I had a glass of Moscato at Olive Garden the last time we were there and tried Moscato and now I love it.
I also like Cellarmaster's Reisling from Columbia Winery out of Washington State. This is what we had at our wedding.
For mixed drinks I like an Amaretto sour....that sounds good right now.
Wine: German Reisling
Beer: Augustiner-Brau Dunkel (German, in case your wondering) or any kind of Dunkel beer for that matter
Drink: Eh, I don't really do mixed drinks
Non-Alcoholic: Chocolate milk

Well, I have cut back on my drinking substantially since January. It started as part of my pre-wedding diet but then I realized that the digestive issues I've had for years pretty much went away, so it's turned into a lifestyle change. But when I do drink (or used to drink):
WIne: I love red wine, especially Pinot Noir and some regional types like malbec and tempranillo. I would say my favorite vinter is Cakebroad but it's $$$ so don't do that too often. Lately I've been experimenting with Chilean and South African wines. Wine is pretty much all I still drink, and I try not to have more than a couple glasses a week.
Drink: I was a martini whore back in the day. I like the fruity ones like cosmos, but there's nothing like a good dirty martini.
Beer: I only drink this at baseball games and the local beer garden, but I like the lighter/citrusy ones like Hoogarden, Shocktop and Blue Moon.
TTC #1 since 4/10, Dx: MFI IVF planned for April/May
Wine: I really don't care. I don't like anything too sweet so Rieslings and Pinot Grigios are kind of out, but otherwise I am not picky/knowledgable enough to select a really good wine.
Cocktails: I love martinis w/ herbs in them (grapefruit-basil, mint & cucumber, etc.). Also love margaritas but only when made correctly and not w/ crappy margarita mix!!
Beer: any IPA or belgian wheats are my fave. DH and I love to experiment with different kinds but I will always love Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and Blue Moon (w/ an orange!)
Wine: I'm a huge fan of Lambrusco (red wine) we had it at the wedding
Cocktails: Margaritas of course!
Beer: Uck...I can't get past the taste
Non-alocoholic: Ditto Amanda..Chocolate Milk! We had this at the wedding too and our caterer said it was the first time anyone had requested to have it served. It went over very well!

I am addicted to this chocolate wine called Choco Vine. I first tried it at a local Mexican Restaurant and now they sell it at the deli/bakery that I shop at. I keep a bottle on hand at all times. LOL But I also like a sweet red, there's one in particular from the Chateau Morissette winery in VA called Red Mountain Laurel. www.chateaumorissette.com My MOH's parents have a lake house on Claytor Lake in VA and the winery isn't far from there. Her mom always brings back bottles of it for me when they go.
Cocktails - I like pina coladas, margaritas and any flavored martinis, especially the toasted almond.
Beer - I'm so content with my Bud Light!
Mike and I are at beer wars because he's a Miller Lite guy.
Wine - I love dry reds (I am a sucker for California Cabernet's), although in summer there is nothing better than a crisp dry white.
I am really not a big fan of mixed drinks, I do enjoy sipping an Amaretto with a desert, or anything that makes me think more of a milkshake than a drink
I just dont like beer, I do like Strongbow cider though!
Wine - I like Babich, it's a sauvignon blanc from New Zealand - YUM!!
Liquor - I invented a drink that I love that I've named "the Allison" - Stoli Orange, 7UP, and a splash of grenadine. Like an adult Shirley Temple - YUM!!!
Me too! I guess that's why I didn't even think of it in the OP.
Wine: Castello del Poggio Moscato (Yum!)
Drink: Strawberry Pina Colada
